The new cathodic protection solar intelligent potential test station is suitable for detecting the protection potential of buried pipelines or pipeline networks, as well as for the cathodic protection systems of buried pipelines or pipeline networks. Cathodic protection test stations are generally installed along pipelines or pipeline networks, especially for long-distance pipelines, to facilitate testing of the protection status of the pipelines or networks. Test stations with reference electrodes require personnel to carry a multimeter or potential tester for on-site detection along the route; test stations without reference electrodes require personnel to carry a multimeter and a portable reference electrode to measure the protection potential along the pipeline or network. Depending on the lifespan of the protected pipeline or network, continuous monitoring of the protection potential is required for decades. Particularly for long-distance pipelines, a test station is needed every few kilometers, often in remote areas without access to grid electricity, making the workload substantial.
1. The solar intelligent potential test station includes a solar panel, support frame, transmission antenna, test station housing, potential acquisition instrument, power controller, battery, and circuit board;
2. The solar panel is connected and fixed to the support frame, which is then fixed to the test station housing. The transmission antenna is fixed to the top of the test station housing. The pre-wired potential acquisition instrument and power controller are fixed onto the circuit board. The assembled circuit board and battery are secured inside the test station housing, which features a small access door. Cables from the pipeline and reference electrode are connected to the analog-to-digital converter, and the solar panel, battery, and power controller cables are interconnected, completing the assembly of the solar intelligent test station.
